Excellent mammary system, high fertility, and resistance to endo and ectoparasites have made this breed the most desired by Brazilians farmers. Males can reach 600 kg by 24 months, and females can become pregnant at 16 months

An imported breed from the United States, it arrived in Brazil over 25 years ago. It’s carcass is the largest among all Zebu breeds raised in Brazil. It is commonly used in crossbreeding with Nelore and Aberdeen females (50/50).

The Gir dairy breed has been present in Brazil for over 120 years. Originated from India, its selection process has always focused on milk production. Recently, the record holder for milk production reached a volume of 75 kg per day. In addition to pure breeding, Gir is also widely used in crossbreeding with Holstein. This crossbreeding led to the creation of Girolando, a breed highly desired by producers.

This is a synthetic breed, resulting from the crossbreeding of Gir and Holstein. The most desired combinations are 62.5% (5/8) Holstein x 37.5% (3/8) Gir and 50/50, as they combine the high production of Holstein with the hardiness of Gir. This results in a cow with high production and easy management

The Guzerá is also a very old breed in our country. It is considered a dual-purpose breed, suitable for both milk production and beef. Its hardiness and adaptability to arid and semi-arid climates make this breed a potential choice.

The Pakistani Zebu. Selected in Brazil, partly in the semi-arid regions for milk production and partly in the Southeast for beef production. It is considered a dual-purpose breed. They are very long-lived and have an exceptional carcass
